A10 Classic
The A10 is fully future-proof and easy to use. While its classic design remains timeless, it combines an ECC81/12AT7 tube preamp with a 2x130W class AB push-pull amplifier. In short, the best of both worlds.
Modernity is also evident thanks to a microprocessor that manages all the functions enabled by the central encoder, on which a long or short press allows access to the menus.
We can scroll through the inputs: 6 analog on RCA including a MM phono with three capacity settings (100, 200, 320 pf), a symmetrical line on XLR, 5 digital including 3 optical, an S/PDIF and a USB audio, plus a connector for an XFTB01 aptX or XFTB02 aptX HD bluetooth receiver. A USB-A accepts MP3 audio files from a walkman or a USB stick.
Originality: Two HDMIs, one for a DVD to benefit from the quality of the A10's audio signal, and one HDMI ARC to connect a screen to the CEC protocol, can be activated in the System Settings menu.
System information, speaker selection (A,B or A+B), volume adjustment, automatic standby setting (or not) from 5 to 90 min are also displayed here.
The In/Out trigger controls the switching on and off of the A10 remotely, or from it to another device connected via the minijacks.
The A10 offers the ability to connect two subwoofers and modulate the output separately on the preamplifier or amplifier.
A fixed Rec Out output is intended for a cassette player, MD or other type recorder.
On the rear, the High Bias switch activates Class A bias on the first watts of the power stage.
