ATC C1 Mk2 Sub is ATC's compact subwoofer

ATC C1 Mk2 is the active subwoofer of the Entry Series – the ideal partner for the SCM19 or SCM40 speakers – but it is also designed to accompany the HTS on-wall speakers of the same historic brand.

The Sub C1 Mk2 is derived from the subwoofer of the acclaimed C1 5.1 surround system, and is designed for both Hi-Fi music playback and to complete the sound experience in Home Cinema applications.

The C1 Mk2 subwoofer incorporates a proprietary 12-inch – 314 mm – ATC woofer with a 76 mm voice coil and a powerful motor with an oversized magnet, hand-built and rigorously “by hand”.

The driver is directed downwards, in the so-called down-firing configuration, so that it can be easily positioned within your listening spaces.

This is an active subwoofer : it integrates a 200 Watt Class AB Mosfet amplifier with grounding and overload protection circuits for greater control at full power.

The small cabinet is solid and robust, internally braced to dampen any unwanted vibrations and uses the closed-box principle, in air suspension, with an overall weight of a generous 26.2 kg. The available finishes are Satin Black , Satin White , Black Ash and Cherry .
