The ATC SCA2 is the English brand's reference preamplifier , ideal for any high-end setup and in particular for the active speakers of the Entry Series and Classic Series . Sound engineering

The SCA2 preamplifier delivers an open, neutral, and transparent performance with a solid, wide, and deep soundstage . Vocals are reproduced with realism, coherence, and articulation; bass takes on a textural solidity and superbly controlled feel, especially percussion reproduction, which is handled with great speed and definition. As you would expect from a highly specialized design like the ATC SCA2, dynamic range is exceptional .

A key feature of ATC's SCA2 preamplifier is the complete elimination of integrated audio circuitry in the main signal path, achieved through a high-performance, discrete ten-gain block circuit . This minimizes noise and distortion while preserving the purity of the audio signal. Additionally, all amplifiers in the monitor chain are built with discrete bipolar transistors and FETs.

The precision volume control ensures accurate adjustment and is designed to offer high gain, wide bandwidth and low distortion.

Each gain stage includes its own decoupling from the supply voltage and the individual channels are powered individually.

The power supplies are super quiet and all circuitry is contained on a single PCB to eliminate wiring for better winding quality.

High-current output stages ensure exceptionally low distortion at any load and maintain a high impedance (10 Ohms) to handle long cable runs.
