The 9000CDT is a dedicated CD transport incorporating a high-end mechanism developed to meet industry benchmarks set by Audiolab performance philosophies.

Following a long list of award-winning audiolab CD playback devices, the 9000CDT uses a high-precision optical system with an electronic data buffer for accurate, seamless CD playback. The digital read-ahead buffer reduces disc read errors, helping the 9000CDT play scratched and damaged CDs that would otherwise be unreadable by conventional mechanisms.

Vibration isolation
To ensure that a flawless signal reaches the accompanying DAC, the 9000CDT’s coaxial output is powered by a differential line driver. The master clock is controlled by a high-precision crystal oscillator, allowing the digital output from both the coaxial and optical sockets to exhibit incredibly low levels of jitter (digital distortion).

The 9000CDT’s low-friction loading tray, robust aluminium base and chassis work to address vibrations that arise from the mechanics of a high-speed motor. Additionally, the transport is mounted in its own electromagnetically shielded enclosure with a dedicated power supply. All of this contributes to exemplary digital signal extraction, while proven resonance reduction further improves performance and forward effect in ancillary Hi-Fi equipment and signal chains.

Digital files in any format
In addition to its class-leading CD playback design, the 9000CDT also offers compatible digital music files via a dedicated USB “Type A” connection on the rear of the unit. All significant lossless and high-resolution audio formats are catered for, including WAV, AAC and WMA, as well as compressed legacy MP3 formats.

Equipped with a 4.3-inch IPS LCD screen with a detailed yet simple-to-use graphical interface, the 9000CDT provides vivid representation of information including system settings, format, folder, track details and other data.
