Active stereo speaker system with proprietary Formation wireless technology without latency. Creation of a mesh network for multi-room. Wireless audio transmission at 24bit/96KHz. Made of an ultra-resistant chassis in Formi (polypropylene/wood fiber), internally stiffened by a Matrix structure, which houses 2 speakers and 2 amplifiers, in addition to the high-efficiency "switching" power supply sections, and the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and Dynamic EQ control logic.

Speakers used: 1 Tweeter with 2.5 cm carbon dome and 1 midwoofer with Continnum cone 16.5 cm. Pneumatic suspension configuration. Internal amplification stages of 2x125W in class D. Frequency response 25Hz-33KHz. Volume and main controls adjustment via buttons on the front. Ethernet and USB socket for service. Free Formation control App for both iOS and Android.

Formation Duo are “traditional” shaped speakers, with the typical B&W look feeling, on-top tweeter on a separate housing with carbon dome combined with a mid-woofer with Continuum membrane directly derived, the first from the 700 Series and the second from the 800 Series. Formation Duo is actively multi-amplified, and is equipped with two 125W class D amplifiers per speaker, they are sold as a pair, and offer a stereophonic combination with performances absolutely equal to those of a Premium Hi Fi system. They can be accompanied by their dedicated floor stand, Formation Duo Stand.
