Pure aesthetics, breathtaking performance: the Reference 7, the slimmest floorstanding loudspeaker in the Reference series, blends harmoniously into any environment. Despite their compact dimensions, the loudspeakers impress with deep bass reproduction and high dynamics. This is made possible by the perfectly tuned bass guide housing using the two woofers with black ceramic tungsten membranes. In the Reference 7, our highest quality BC and BCT drivers are used on the round baffle. They are elegantly covered by elaborately manufactured screwless adapter rings. As in all Reference models, they are designed as asymmetrical waveguides to perfect the sound radiation of the loudspeakers. All models in the Reference family are manufactured in Germany with the highest quality and precision. The slim 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker Reference 7 impresses with its perfectly thought-out design and offers long-lasting enjoyment when playing music thanks to high-quality materials, first-class components and the latest Canton technologies.

Compelling technology
The Reference 7 are elegant 3-way loudspeakers equipped with first-class speaker drivers. Two dynamic 154 mm BCT woofers with black ceramic tungsten membranes deliver precise bass. This is achieved in combination with the efficient bass guide system and a perfectly coordinated cabinet volume. The BCT midrange driver, also 154 millimetres in size, ensures impulsive and finely resolved mids that contribute to the natural and authentic sound of the Reference 7. The 25 mm BC tweeter with black aluminium oxide ceramic membrane rounds off the sound spectrum and provides detailed and homogeneous highs. In the crossover, carefully selected components with minimum tolerance specifications ensure a balanced impedance curve and perfect impulsive behaviour of the speaker chassis. The careful tuning of the crossover allows the drivers to work perfectly together, thus achieving optimum sound quality.

WBT nextgen™ connection terminals
The Reference 7 is not only a floorstanding speaker that stands out in terms of sound quality and design, it also offers innovative connection options, with the option of bi-wiring or bi-amping. With the high-quality WBT nextgen™ connection terminals, the Reference 7 ensures optimal signal transmission to the connected audio devices. Thanks to the included hard gold-plated copper bridges, you can exploit the full potential of the speakers if bi-wiring or bi-amping is not used. The speaker is equipped with RC (Room Compensation) technology controls located on the speaker terminal. This level adjustment allows you to precisely adjust the sound pressure levels of the midrange and tweeter in sensitive increments of 1.5 decibels. This allows you to perfectly adapt the Reference 7 to your personal listening habits and room acoustics.

Impressive design
The Reference 7 features an elaborate, computer-optimized internal bracing, developed to achieve optimum stability and rigidity in the speaker housing. Precise damping made of special fleece and the absence of parallel housing surfaces prevent standing waves within the housing. The speakers are available in three elegant versions to match any interior style: satin matt white, piano black and walnut. The white version gives the speakers a modern and timeless look. Its silky matt surface gives the Reference 7 an elegant touch and allows it to stand out stylishly in any room. The piano black version of the Reference 7 impresses with its glossy, reflective surface, which achieves a special depth effect thanks to twelve layers of lacquer. For lovers of modern wooden surfaces, the walnut version is available. The high-quality walnut veneer is refined using a special sanding technique and matt lacquer treatment and impresses with its fine-pored surface. The warm wood finish gives the Reference 7 a natural and attractive aesthetic.
