Since its debut, demand for a public release from customers, dealers, and the audiophile community has been overwhelming. Alto is now available for purchase at our dealers.

The Alto is a thoughtfully designed headphone and nearfield monitor amplifier, capable of driving up to four pairs of headphones and smaller speakers. Notably, it's our first product to include a 4.4mm Pentaconn TRRRS (pseudo-balanced) output, addressing the growing popularity of balanced transmission in high-end headphones.

The Alto features four front-mounted headphone outputs, powered by ULTIMA technology. It features one 3.5mm output; two 6.35mm (1/4-inch) outputs; and a 4.4mm Pentaconn output. The array of outputs not only facilitates A/B comparisons, but also allows multiple users to listen simultaneously.

Speaker-wise, the Alto delivers 25 watts into 8 ohms (50 watts into 4 ohms), delivering the transparency, speed, and low distortion that are hallmarks of the ULTIMA amplifier topology. Stereo outputs with banana plugs are provided on the rear panel, allowing the use of all but the largest speaker connectors.

The Alto's ULTIMA topology introduces the company's dual feed-forward error correction technology, which immediately monitors and corrects signals before the output stage.

Compact yet powerful, the Alto's slightly larger-than-A5 dimensions make it easy to install in any audio system, including desktop systems, living spaces, and dedicated hi-fi systems.
