We have now completely revised the successful GLE model range, both visually and technically. What has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and, of course, the convincing Canton sound. Our brand new GLE 50 center speaker is the absolute center of attention: with its two 154 mm titanium midrange drivers, it behaves precisely and dynamically at all times in a closed cabinet. With the support of the 25 mm tweeter with aluminum-manganese cone, it is perfectly equipped to optimize the sound of your home cinema system at home. The outstanding technical equipment guarantees great listening pleasure with the best Canton sound for a long time.

Technology: Better than ever

The pursuit of the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technology. The GLE loudspeakers benefit from the continuous progress we make in loudspeaker development, both visually and technically. First of all, we would like to mention our outstanding titanium drivers, which have been incorporated into the current GLE series. Two 154 mm titanium drivers in a closed cabinet reproduce the lowest tones clearly and powerfully and ensure a balanced, neutral midrange with excellent detail resolution. They feature robust polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnetic drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, which allow the loudspeakers to operate very dynamically with minimal distortion. The perfect complement comes in the form of our tried and tested 25 mm aluminum-manganese dome tweeter system: a precisely calculated waveguide and the optimized 2.5-way crossover enable reproduction of up to 40,000 Hertz, with ideal sound distribution even outside the main listening axis.

Discreet appearance - powerful acoustics

The 2.5-way GLE 50 center speaker has a modern and unobtrusive design. Thanks to its harmonious proportions and the attractive cabinet versions with black decor, white decor or macassar decor, the GLE 50 Center feels at home in any living environment. The front of the GLE 50 Center is finished in matt black or satin white. A decorative feature of the current GLE series is the black fabric cover, which is magnetically attached to the baffle. It is generously rounded at the corners, giving the center a distinctive and attractive face. The well-proportioned GLE 50 center can be placed on or in a TV cabinet under a television. Alternatively, it can be used as a center speaker on the optionally available LS 660 speaker stand, which is both acoustically and visually perfect. Measuring 45.5 x 17 x 30 centimeters, the solidly built center weighs 8.6 kilograms.
