ETHER 2: Pure Passion
Dan Clark Audio’s flagship ETHER 2 headphone was designed from the ground up. Instead of creating TrueFlow technology from an existing engine, as with the ETHER Flow line, the American manufacturer’s design team created a completely new driver. This has allowed for significant improvements in linearity, dynamics and detail. This increased resolution is also due to a diaphragm that is 70% lighter, and therefore able to offer incredible detail, fast bass, liquid mids, in short, one of the most organic sounds you will hear from an audiophile headphone.
Unlike speakers, headphones have a direct physical connection to the listener. Their construction greatly influences the sound, but it also defines the interface with the user, and comfort and fit play a major role in the listening experience. ETHER 2 is a metal and carbon fiber headset where everything is custom designed. The metal and carbon fiber ear cups and headband improve performance, durability and reliability.
