A detachable, high-purity 7N copper cable, made in Japan to Denon specifications, ensures the best possible signal transmission – terminated with a machine-turned metal connector embellished with a copper ring. The earcups are connected to a genuine leather-trimmed headband, with ergonomically curved extruded aluminum hooks, while the memory foam earpads are covered in an extremely soft artificial leather developed specifically for the AH-D7200. Every part of this no-compromise design is crafted for the highest sound quality, comfort – and an extraordinary listening experience.

Exclusive FreeEdge driver technology
At the heart of the AH-D7200 is the 50mm FreeEdge driver diaphragm, made from a nano-fibre material and chosen for its rigidity and low mass. This ensures accurate pistonic movement without distortion, and is also self-damping to cancel out unwanted resonances within the diaphragm. It is mounted in a specially designed soft housing, which makes it easier for it to move in response to musical signals without flexing or distorting, for the purest possible sound.

The beautiful 100% natural wood earcups enhance the sound experience. They are self-damping and rigid, eliminating unwanted vibrations and achieving super-detailed reproduction that will bring life, musicality and the emphasis of a concert hall to your listening.
Wearability
The headband is crafted from an extruded aluminum frame that is ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and fit. The earcups are covered in a soft leather developed specifically for the AH-D7200, and made from memory foam, which allows them to conform to the shape of your head for maximum comfort. Perfect adjustment
To accommodate a variety of head sizes, the adjustable headband uses self-locking ball bearings for precise, repeatable adjustments. Numbered indicators show you how to quickly and accurately restore your personal fit.
