FUTURE-PROOF IN ANY CASE
All eight inputs (including the one on the front) and three HDMI outputs are compatible with HDCP 2.2 and the latest HDMI specifications, including 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and 21:9 video, 3D, and BT.2020 pass-through. It is also already compatible with Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) for 3D audio transmission via TV apps. eARC functionality will be implemented via a future firmware update.

NEXT GENERATION VIDEO FORMATS
The AVC-X8500H supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) video format, and is ready for Dolby Vision and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). Dolby Vision transforms the viewing experience with extraordinary brightness, contrast, and color. HLG supports HDR technology for broadcast content.

FUTURE-PROOF IN ANY CASE
Equipped with the full Audyssey Platinum suite of the most advanced DSP algorithms, the AVC-X8500H features Audyssey MultEQ XT32 automatic room correction. Using the supplied calibration microphone, MultEQ XT32 precisely analyzes the output of each speaker (including subwoofers) at up to eight measurement positions, generating precise digital filters that optimize each channel to reproduce the correct frequency with just the right delay. The optional Audyssey MultEQ Editor app lets you view and adjust settings for more precise calibration and customization of the sound to your room and personal preferences.

EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL
With the "Denon 2016 AVR Remote" app you can control the amplifier and also the Denon Blu-ray player connected to it. With the HEOS app you can easily control your music and multi-room streaming, or use your voice with the Amazon Alexa Voice Control system*.
