Description
For over 35 years, Dynavector has established an enviable reputation for producing high-quality, affordable moving coil cartridges. This is especially true for high-output models, which are designed to work with MM inputs, eliminating the need for equipment changes or setup devices required for lower-output cartridges. The exceptional performance of Dynavector's high-output moving coil cartridges can be attributed to Dynavector's exclusive coil winding system, which utilizes extremely thin coil wire, providing a high power-to-mass ratio.

Features and improvements
The DV-20X has a solid aluminum alloy body and a rigid magnetic structure similar to the XX-2MKII. The cantilever is a 6mm-long, hard aluminum tube with a Micro-Ridge stylus. Flux damping and softened magnetism, combined with powerful neodymium magnets, give the 20X2H a healthy 2.8mV output, suitable for most MM inputs. The 20X2L has a 0.3mV output, ideal for most MC phono stages.

Both high-output and low-output versions of their 20X2 are available to ensure optimal output. The high-output model is suitable for tube preamps or electronics that only offer MM inputs, while the low-output version offers excellent performance when combined with dedicated moving coil inputs.
