The Dynavector SUP-200 is a premium step-up transformer that will extract the best musical performance from most moving coil cartridges. Although designed primarily for use with Dynavector MC cartridges.

The SUP-200 has a gain of 26dB and can be matched with all moving coil cartridges in the impedance range of 3-35ohm and an output voltage of more than 0.1mV. The use of high permeability core material ensures extremely low distortion and maintains minimum power loss.

Vibration control is achieved by impregnation of the voice coil. Additional insulation is provided between the voice coil and the case. Large diameter OFC voice coil windings ensure minimal power loss, high resolution in the critical low-mid frequency area and smooth high frequency response.

The transformer is magnetically double shielded by a nu-metal casing then encapsulated in a thick aluminum casing that completely separates the left and right channels and ensures complete shielding.

A carefully selected high quality resistor is used to properly terminate the secondary output to maintain consistent performance and excellent frequency response regardless of changes in load impedance or connected audio cables.

Rhodium-plated RCA input-output terminals provide excellent reliability and long life. Rigid aluminum chassis construction discourages vibration and culminates in an aesthetically pleasing, high-performance product.
