The Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 project was born in direct response to the enthusiasm and requests of the international community, passionate about the quality offered by the original DMP-A6 model but eager to push further. With the second generation of the Master Edition, Eversolo improves on an already benchmark platform in the music streaming segment, creating a network player with exclusive technical features, developed with a "purist" approach and an absolute dedication to sonic fidelity.
The device's entire internal architecture has been redesigned and optimized to eliminate any form of noise or interference and enhance every nuance of the digital signal. The DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 adopts a new ultra-low-noise power supply system, an improved output stage with select components, and a new balanced topology that maximizes transparency and microdynamics.
At the heart of the player is a carefully selected pair of ES9038Q2M DACs , used in an independent dual mono configuration, powered by linearly regulated stages and isolated from the digital section. This dramatically reduces intermodulation and increases dynamic range, especially when the device is operating in balanced mode. The balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs are powered by a section with low-noise transistors and selected low-noise operational amplifiers. The proprietary operating system allows for extremely smooth and rich direct control, fully navigable from the display or via mobile app.
Major high-resolution streaming services are supported, including Tidal (integrated MQA), Qobuz, Apple Music, Amazon Music HD, Spotify, Deezer , as well as local file playback via NAS, USB or internal SSD (with M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 slot up to 4TB). The audio playback engine is capable of reproducing PCM up to 768kHz and DSD up to DSD512 natively , as well as ensuring bit-perfect passthrough for MQA content and high-definition master files.
Metadata management is advanced , with automatic scraping of covers, artist information, lyrics, composers, genres, and listening history. The interface also allows for tag editing, smart playlist creation, custom organization, and library backup.

On the back there are balanced XLR outputs, unbalanced RCA outputs, dual HDMI outputs (one with dedicated clock for I2S audio), an asynchronous USB DAC input , three USB inputs for external drives, an optical port, a coaxial port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD connectivity. The HDMI output also supports video transmission up to 4K for displaying the GUI on external screens or using the device as a living room multimedia center.
Thanks to third-party API support, it can be integrated into home automation systems, Roon systems, or multi-zone environments. It's also possible to configure remote power, time synchronization, and infrared or 12V trigger management.
