Gold Note Mediterraneo X - Turntable

In Meditterraneo X, the past and future of Gold Note are condensed. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Mediterraneo, this innovative turntable represents a challenge, between research and tradition, for lovers of the analog world who are not satisfied with the most consolidated choices and for those who want innovative features that are authentically High-End. A color touchscreen display allows fine adjustment of the speed from the screen, and is equipped with a timer that indicates the duration of 3 different heads. The platter, for the first time in the history of Gold Note in aluminum and POM (45mm, 7Kg), minimizes vibrations and allows a listening experience never experienced before.

The plinth is made up of three components: a first 20 mm aluminium panel, a 3 mm stainless steel plate, and finally a third plinth made of Italian walnut wood, which reproduces the catenary curve, the famous shape derived from the works of Michelangelo and Galileo applied by Gold Note to its turntables to obtain the maximum structural rigidity achievable with the same mass and dimensions, allowing the turntable to express surprising performances in terms of detail, dynamics and scene reconstruction.

The three elegant feet are made of anodized aluminum and can be adjusted in height and the back is equipped with high quality RCA connectors. Mediterraneo X comes with a dedicated phono cable.

The Mediterraneo X turntable is belt-driven and powered by a proprietary control system developed with the aid of an audio converter and a Quadral-Core microprocessor that allows the 12V synchronous motor to function perfectly, without vibrations or speed variations. The external power supply controls the motor electronically and allows the speeds of 33⅓rpm and 45rpm to be adjusted with extreme precision, also ensuring the possibility of memorizing the set parameters.
