A new turntable: here is T-5
The all-new T-5 is our answer to the demands of today’s audiophile: a high-performance turntable designed to be compact, practical and elegant. Our unmistakable sonic signature underpins this turntable and is a constant in our designs, as our origins are rooted in the art of vinyl reproduction.
For the T-5, we developed a 15mm thick platter made from “ultra-clear” glass, a high-quality material whose unique characteristics, such as density and structure, allow it to extract all the detail from the vinyl groove, while minimising noise. The platter is then combined with an inverted bearing spindle, a refined solution for increasing the stability of the platter and ensuring its rotation without friction.
The plinth is 23mm thick and made of HDF, a high-density composite material that is both strong and lightweight. The geometry of the plinth is also refined by removing material in strategic places (around the motor, the bearing and along the edges) to create a shape that minimizes any resonance by interrupting the transmission of vibrations within the structure.
Available in a sleek black lacquer finish, it comes with our acclaimed B-5.2 tonearm and removable clear acrylic dust cap.
Like all our turntables, the T-5 is handcrafted in Italy with love and care.
