The third iteration of the Ananda should once again represent a leap forward in performance with its nanometer-thick diaphragm and stealth magnets. The Ananda Nano features a color change from previous versions. HiFiMAN has chosen a silver body. The Ananda Nano headphones have a sensitivity of 94 dB and a measured impedance of 14 ohms.

Planar Sounds Better
Because the conductive layer (voice coil) on the diaphragm of planar headphones is evenly distributed across the surface of the diaphragm, the electromagnetic force that drives the diaphragm to vibrate and produce sound acts much more uniformly than the vibration force on the surface of the cone diaphragm of dynamic headphones. Ultimately, phase distortion is much lower, and the spatial information of sound reproduction is lost less than with dynamic headphones, while also offering a much wider soundstage and better positioning.

The result? Ananda Nano has a wide frequency range, from 5 Hz to 55 kHz. The three-dimensional sound field envelops the listener's ears, with precise positioning and imaging of musical instruments as if experienced in a live performance.

Acoustically invisible Stealth Magnet
Unlike sound waves created by a conventional magnet, the special shape of the Stealth magnets allows waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference. HIFIMAN's advanced magnet design is acoustically transparent, drastically reducing wave diffraction turbulence that degrades the integrity of sound waves. Reduced distortion produces pure, precise, full-range sound output.
