The Jade II amplifier and headphones are electrostatic devices, so they use 5-pin connectors. You can use the Jade II amplifier with other electrostatic headphones, such as STAX. Likewise, you can connect the Jade II headphones together with other electrostatic amplifiers such as STAX or Blue Hawaii for example. If you connect these devices to other electrostatic devices, there will be no problem.
