The latest LxDTM-i transport
To minimize even the slightest distortions triggered by vibration and resonance, we upgraded the disc drive, creating the original LxDTM-i disc transport mechanism - LUXMAN (Improved). We encase the drive in 8mm-thick aluminum sides that extend to the front and rear panels, plus a 5mm-thick steel top plate. For added protection, the physical mounting system forms an integrated structure that supports the side frame. Together with an improved disc reading mechanism, the result is playback of an altogether higher order.

Advanced digital processing
The D-10X marks the debut of the world's finest D/A converter, ROHM Semiconductor's MUS-IC™ BD34301EKV. Used in a dual mono configuration, these converters combine world-class specifications with an impressive suite of silicon-level refinements. MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The player includes MQA technology, allowing it to play MQA CDs and up to 24-bit MQA audio files transferred via USB, optical and coaxial inputs.

ODNF-u Balanced Analog Circuit
Our years of ODNF amplifier development have resulted in the ODNF-u - Only Distortion Negative Feedback (power amp) - debuting on the D-10X. This fully balanced configuration maximizes error detection accuracy while minimizing distortion. You'll hear far greater expressive power with improved microdynamics across the audio spectrum, especially in the higher frequencies. The stage also achieves a natural, smooth waveform without conventional output filters. The secret is the tailored, step-by-step processing of the 1st order × 3-band filter within the circuit. Superb circuitry deserves a robust chassis. To protect the analog signal from changes in ground impedance and magnetic fields, the D-10X incorporates a loop-free composite chassis. Well shielded, the chassis is also effective at blocking digital noise.

Consistent power supplies
To provide ample and highly stable power, we have increased the power transformer capacity by 27% compared to our previous flagship. We also provide independent regulators for each circuit along with formidable filter capacitors for maximum stability.

LUXMAN Unique PCB Layout
Dielectric effects, unwanted resistance and parasitic capacitance in PCB designs can degrade the audio signal. LUXMAN suppresses these effects with generously thick 100 μm copper foil, gold-plated connections and removal of solder mask coating. Additionally, our slightly curved wiring scheme provides smooth signal flow.

Selected premium components
No detail is too small for LUXMAN engineers to consider and perfect. The RCA output jacks apply gold plating over an alloy that combines the conductivity of copper with the durability of brass. We use robust Neutrik XLR terminals for the balanced outputs. Additionally, density-gradient cast iron isolation feet provide stable support while suppressing shelf resonance.

Versatile digital inputs
To complement the advanced audio systems, we provide one coaxial and two optical inputs, as well as a USB input that supports both DSD and PCM. In addition to isochronous transfer, the USB supports four Bulk Pet® transfer modes that optimize the processor load between the source and the D-10X for improved transparency.

4X zoom view
Choose your listening position carefully. The 4X zoom function makes the fluorescent display easy to read from that seat. During CD and MQA file playback, a three-color indicator confirms the decoding status: Studio (blue), Authentic (green) and Renderer (magenta).

Ergonomic IR remote control
The included aluminum remote control has the same sandblasted white finish as the player's front panel. Without leaving your ideal listening position, you can use the numeric keypad, transport controls and display dimmer.

LUXMAN's original playback software
To play music from a PC, we recommend our application LUXMAN Audio Player. This software supports FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, DSF and DSDIFF files. You can download the software for Windows and macOS from the official website of LUXMAN.
