A dedicated 8K input supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz** pass-through, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10, 21:9 video, 3D pass-through and BT.2020. Additionally, the latest HDCP 2.3 copy protection standard is supported on all HDMI ports. Showcasing the latest HDMI technologies and specifications, the new AV7706 lets you take your home entertainment to the next level with support for HDR10+, Dynamic HDR, ALLM, VRR, QMS and QFT. The video processor can upscale native video sources up to 8K quality. The AV7706 also offers HDMI eARC support, which supports 3D audio formats like Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® in masterful quality from your TV apps. HDMI inputs automatically rename themselves with information provided by the source (when available).

Marantz HDAM and Current Feedback topology
The AV7706 features the exclusive Marantz Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM) technology, providing ultra-fast slew rate, true wideband performance and maximum dynamic range for optimum sound quality. Current Feedback technology, first introduced by Marantz almost 70 years ago, replaces the voltage feedback configuration typically found in AV receivers, delivering wide bandwidth and very high slew rate, allowing for superior fidelity with wideband audio sources.

Experience voice control with Amazon Alexa*. Adjust volume, skip to the next track, select inputs for your media players and more – “Just Ask”. Download the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill to enable Amazon Alexa voice commands* for the AV7706, HEOS devices and other select Marantz products. *Currently unknown when the HEOS Skills for Amazon Alexa will be available in Italy/in Italian.
Google Assistant Voice Control*
Ask your Google Home, Google app or other devices with Google Assistant built-in to control content across your listening environment. AirPlay 2 and Apple Siri voice control

Bluetooth audio transmission
Enjoy your favorite audio music without disturbing other people in the house. by transmitting the audio from the AV preamplifier to your Bluetooth headphones. The AV7706 also allows you to play audio simultaneously with Bluetooth headphones and connected speakers. If you have a family member or friend who is hearing impaired, we recommend this setup.

Multi-source, Multi-room
Watch a movie in one room while another family member listens to a song from Spotify in a different zone without interruption. Enjoy 11.2-channel surround sound in the main room and a separate source or music stream in two other zones. Simply connect a separate stereo amplifier with speakers to the second and third zone pre-outs.
All Zone TV Audio
Share the main zone TV audio with all other zones without losing fully discrete multichannel playback in the main zone. Select "Source" for the second and third zones from the AVR Remote app so that the main zone audio is not switched to PCM stereo.
Connectivity for Smart TV
Using HDMI CEC, a feature available on Smart TVs, you can control the AV7706 with your TV remote. The Marantz AVR Remote app for iOS and Android gives you complete control over the latest Marantz network AV amplifiers and preamplifiers. Use it to power on/off, adjust volume, input and settings, or switch instantly to the HEOS® Built-in app.
Easy-to-use Smart Select functions
On the supplied remote control you will find four buttons with Smart Select function: each one can store the preferred configuration with input, volume, audio mode, Audyssey configuration and also “All Zone Stereo” for the party mode. With the simple press of a single button you can immediately have the AV7706 perfectly configured with your preferred settings.
Easy to setup
The AV7706 Quick Start Guide provides simple, straightforward instructions to get you started. After connecting your TV to the AV7706 via HDMI, the Marantz Setup Assistant appears on your TV screen and guides you through setup. The Setup Assistant helps you establish crucial settings for the best possible sound quality, whatever your setup. The AV7706 will also automatically rename your HDMI inputs when connected, or you can rename them manually for added convenience.
Audyssey MultEQ XT32 Advanced
Equipped with the full Audyssey Platinum suite of advanced DSP algorithms, the AV7706 features Audyssey MultEQ XT32 automatic room correction. Using the supplied measurement microphone, MultEQ XT32 analyzes each speaker's output (including subwoofers) at up to eight measurement locations and generates precision digital filters that optimize each channel for the correct frequency and time domain response. Audyssey Dynamic Volume smooths out disruptive jumps in volume (such as TV commercials), letting you listen at lower levels and still enjoy clear dialogue, music and sound effects, while Audyssey Dynamic EQ provides full-range clarity at any listening level. Audyssey Low Frequency Containment uses advanced psychoacoustic algorithms to deliver full-range tonal balance, including deep bass, without disturbing neighbors or people in other rooms, and features multi-level adjustment. Audyssey Sub EQ HT provides individual DSP customization for each subwoofer when using a dual subwoofer setup for deeper, more defined bass. Plus, the optional Audyssey MultEQ Editor app, available for purchase from app stores, lets you view and adjust settings for detailed tuning to more precisely tailor the sound to your listening environment and personal taste.
Possibility of external control
External RS232 and IP control capabilities are available for easy customization and compatibility with third-party integration solutions. The Marantz AV7706 offers IP control capabilities for major third-party control devices, as well as Control4 SDPP (Simple Device Detection Protocol) certification for seamless integration with Control4 home automation devices. IR (infrared) remote control input and output are included on the rear panel for control compatibility with other home theater components.
