The M6si500 is an ultra-high-performance, high-power super-integrated amplifier. Twenty-five years ago, the Musical Fidelity A1000 kicked off the entire super-integrated amplifier genre. Over the past two and a half decades, we've continued to refine our original concept.

Internally it is a separate preamplifier with two independent monoblock power amplifiers; effectively a separate system in a single box.
Excellent build quality
The M6si500 offers prodigious power – 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms – but it offers much more than power.
The M6si500 features a premium metal construction that gives it distinctive style and a solid performance platform. The front panel is a slim, custom-extruded military-grade aluminum, while the heatsinks are custom-made for exceptional dissipation and a refined finish.
We designed the M6si500 as a true dual-mono design. Each power amplifier section has its own heat sink and separate transformer, while the preamp has its own power supply winding.
The five input sockets are connected directly to the preamplifier's main circuit board, rather than using wired connections. This ultra-short signal path ensures ultra-low impedance from the instantaneous sources feeding the M6si500.
Each channel features 12 large bipolar transistors; 200 amps peak-to-peak performance is immediately available.
Additionally, a precision digital volume control, using laser-cut substrate resistors, ensures perfect tracking down to very low listening levels.
This attention to detail delivers stellar technical performance. For example, distortion levels are remarkably low: around 0.008% at 1 kHz and 0.015% at 20 kHz, rising only marginally to 0.02% at the ultra-high frequencies of 30-50 kHz. Signal-to-noise ratio is also minimal. The M6si500 offers remarkable linearity and consistency, allowing it to drive any speaker with ample power reserves. Its sound is fluid, spontaneous, and dynamic—just as the best amplifiers should.
