High-resolution Pinnacle Ring Radiator Tweeter
Over 40 years of tweeter innovation, design and prototyping have led to the development of the new Pinnacle 1" High Definition Ring Radiator Tweeter, developed by Polk Audio, which delivers ultra-bright, clear high frequencies without unwanted coloration or distortion. The Pinnacle Tweeter features a finely tuned waveguide, which dramatically improves the dispersion of high-frequency energy for a wide sweet spot, while the carefully damped rear chamber helps eliminate unwanted resonances. Hi-Res Audio certified, the Pinnacle Tweeter is designed for today's two-channel music and the 3D multi-channel audio found in movies, sports and video game soundtracks.

Turbine Cone's flagship design
Polk developed the Turbine cone specifically for our flagship products to ensure natural reproduction of the midrange to which the human ear is particularly sensitive. These Turbine cones combine Polk's proprietary foam construction and molded Turbine geometry that dramatically increase stiffness and damping, without adding mass. You'll hear every detail and experience a smooth, detailed midrange and natural, pleasing low frequencies.

PowerPort 2.0
Polk’s new Power Port 2.0 is the latest iteration of our successful Power Port technology. In addition to Power Port’s carefully engineered port design, which evens out airflow as it exits the cabinet through the port, X-Port adds a set of closed-tube absorbers that are specifically tuned to unwanted cabinet and port resonances. These two technologies work together to function as Power Port 2.0 to deliver smooth, detailed audio. Combined with dual 8” woofers, you get stronger, cleaner bass while minimizing turbulence and port noise.

Premium Cabinets Built to Enhance Performance
Polk believes that cabinets should look good and add nothing to the reproduction. Polk Reserve cabinets, bracing and internals are precision engineered to minimize unwanted internal standing waves and eliminate unwanted resonances. Using the Laser Doppler Vibrometer (LDV) design, advanced precision point-braced cabinets with individual mid- and low-frequency transducer sections, coupled with the new Cabinet Resonance Control (CRC), unwanted cabinet panel resonances are eliminated. The result is a cabinet that rigidly holds the transducer array while faithfully reproducing your recordings.

Height Compatible Module
These speakers can be used for the front of any home theater, as well as side and/or rear surrounds. Compatible with Height Reserve R900 modules to add immersive vertical sound (R900 sold separately).

Female vocals are particularly smooth and detailed, without coloration. In addition, support for at least 40 kHz perfectly reproduces the latest high-resolution audio files, with improved audio extension.
