The A35.2 is a powerful balanced-input stereo amplifier, using our UFPD 2 amplifier technology to deliver 200 watts of power per channel in stereo and 800 watts of power in bridged mono mode.

Technology

The A35.2 is the most powerful amplifier we have ever designed, using our new proprietary UFPD 2 Class-D analog amplifier technology.

In fact, we designed an entirely new UFPD 2 power module to deliver the power and performance we felt was necessary for a stereo amplifier of this magnitude.

As a result, an entirely new power supply was designed, with custom-wound transformers, to provide the immense electrical power required by the amplifier module to produce the immense musical power it is capable of.

With this essential circuitry, the A35.2 is capable of delivering immediate and sustained high power output with very low distortion, instantaneous rise time, and absolutely linear amplification across the entire bandwidth, resulting in naturally fast, clean, and agile sound across an extremely wide frequency range and with exceptional headroom.

The A35.2 features balanced inputs and 200 watts of output power into 8 ohms, with the ability to be bridged in mono for 800 watts of output power into 8 ohms. With this truly impressive level of power, the A35.2 is capable of driving even the most demanding stereo speakers or creating an incredibly powerful multi-channel system.

Scandinavian look and feel

We believe that every aspect of our products—their appearance, the feel of the controls—contributes to the overall Primare user experience. As a result, Primare products embody the hallmarks of Scandinavian design: simple, elegant designs with accessible, easy-to-understand features.

An example of this is the standby button discreetly positioned within the Primare logo on the front panel of our R15, R35 and A35.2 models – or as we lagom say, not too much and not too little, all in balance, proportion and harmony.

Modular design and system construction

We believe it's essential to offer modularity wherever possible to get the right features, both now and in the future. Modular design characterizes the I25 and I35 integrated amplifiers, as well as the PRE35 preamplifier, all of which can be upgraded with DACs and Prisma modules, and the CD35 CD player, which can be equipped with the Prisma module, either at the time of purchase or later. As a result, we are able to offer a carefully considered range of models and configurations, allowing you to choose the device best suited to any system requirement. The A35.2 is the ideal partner for the PRE35 in its various configurations and, while not modular per se, allows for a variety of configuration options to suit system needs, either as a single stereo amplifier or in pairs for bi-amping or bridged mono operation, for a power output of 800 watts per channel.
