This new speaker series features the C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ mid/low driver design, first introduced in the award-winning 5000 Series and M40 powered micro-tower loudspeakers. Q Acoustics’ latest technical platform elevates the 3000c above its competitors, delivering a sound characterised by an articulate and fast midrange, controlled yet powerful bass dynamics and nuanced and detailed high frequencies, as well as an exceptional soundstage never before experienced at this level.

The 3000c Series evolves the distinctive look and feel of the 3000i to reflect evolving tastes in interior design. In keeping with Q Acoustics' minimalist design philosophy and echoing the essential nature of the C³ profile, the 3000c is visually more minimal, with no visible joints or hardware. C³ Continuous Curved Cone™

A true advancement in mid/low driver design elements, the C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ profile is the result of extensive research and expert engineering to combine the low-frequency benefits of a traditional straight cone with the high/mid-frequency control of a flared cone.

Creating a unique, uniform, and continuous curved profile offers multiple advantages. First, the excellent dispersion, combined with a well-controlled frequency response, allows for smoother integration with the tweeter. Deep bass dynamics are also superior, with a more precise and smoother sound that allows for greater flexibility in positioning the speakers near the walls of the listening room.

Mid/woofer driver design

The revolutionary C³ cone is the heart of the 3000c's mid/woofer design. The cone geometry requires exceptional motor power for optimal performance, so large magnets are paired with the voice coils. The control provided by the large magnets ensures good dynamic response, headroom, and accurate bass. In addition to these advantages, the large magnets also ensure that the pole plate and yoke are nearly saturated, reducing flux modulation and harmonic distortion.

High frequency driver design

Based on the tweeter design principle of the all-new Concept Series, the high-frequency driver unit is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated (floating) from the front baffle to prevent internal pressure modulation from the cabinet and the adjacent mid/woofer driver. The internal chamber has also been carefully vented to reduce distortion, with a lower crossover point for seamless integration in the crossover region.

P2P™ (Point to Point) Reinforcement

Q Acoustics’ P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing, used throughout the 3000c Series, supports the areas of the cabinet that require stiffening, making the new cabinets exceptionally rigid, improving the focus of the stereo image and giving the soundstage unprecedented precision.
