Q Acoustics’ latest technical platform sets the 3000c apart from its competitors, delivering a sound characterised by articulate and fast midrange, controlled yet powerful bass dynamics and nuanced and detailed highs, creating an exceptional soundstage never before seen at this level.

Contemporary look

The 3000c Series further develops the distinctive look of the 3000i, reflecting evolving tastes in interior design. In keeping with Q Acoustics' pared-back design philosophy and the simple nature of the C3 profile, the 3000c Series is visually more minimalist, with no visible joints or screws. A sleek new one-piece speaker grille in satin nickel and satin chrome (white only) graces the front of the cabinet, while all-new finishes complement the series' design.

Surfaces that adapt to any interior

The 3000c Series is available in four new, modern, high-quality finishes that blend seamlessly into any living space. The introduction of a new light wood finish (Pin Oak) and a dark wood finish (Claro Rosewood), along with the new yet classic Satin White and Satin Black finishes, first introduced in the 5000 Series, underscores the modern design character of this new speaker family.

C3 Continuous Curved Cone™

The C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ profile represents a true leap forward in mid-woofer development. It is the result of extensive research and expert development, aimed at combining the advantages of a traditional straight cone with the control of high and midrange frequencies guaranteed by an extended cone.

Creating a single, uniform, and continuous curved profile offers a number of advantages. First, its excellent dispersion characteristics, combined with a well-controlled frequency response, allow for smoother integration with the tweeter. Bass dynamics are also exceptional, and this, combined with the tighter and more subdued sound in the low range, allows for greater flexibility in positioning the speakers near the walls of the listening room.

Midrange/woofer design

The revolutionary C3 cone is the heart of the 3000c woofer. The diaphragm geometry requires exceptional motor power for optimal performance, which is why large magnets are paired with the voice coils. The control provided by the large magnets ensures good dynamics, headroom, and powerful bass. In addition to these advantages, the large magnets also ensure that the pole plate and yoke are nearly saturated, reducing flux modulation and harmonic distortion.

High frequency driver design

Based on the tweeter design principle of the latest Concept series, the tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the (floating) baffle to prevent internal pressure modulation in the cabinet and adjacent mid/woofer. The internal chamber is also carefully ventilated to reduce distortion and features a lower crossover point for seamless integration into the crossover section.

P2P™ (Point to Point) Reinforcement

Q Acoustics’ P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing, used throughout the 3000c Series, supports the areas of the cabinet that require bracing, making the new cabinets exceptionally rigid, improving the focus of the stereo image and making the soundstage more precise than ever before.

HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer)

Like all floorstanding speakers, the 3050c is susceptible to internal pressure buildup, which causes unwanted standing waves and coloration. To prevent this, specially developed HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer™) tubes are installed inside the cabinet, eliminating internal pressure and improving frequency response.
