Just like its award-winning sibling, Concept 20, the Concept 40’s exceptional audio, incredible dynamics and pure musicality can be achieved by integrating its drives into an enclosure made from GelcoreTM. This state-of-the-art, ultra-low-resonance, elegantly lacquered enclosure allows the dual 125mm drivers and wide-dispersion 25mm tweeter to deliver the best performance imaginable. The combination of extreme sensitivity for dynamics and increased bass extension for realism is a worthwhile change of perspective.

Ultra low resonance box design
The Concept 40 features a GelcoreTM cabinet configuration: two layers of MDF are separated by a custom-made adhesive film that never stays put and absorbs resonance, dispersing kinetic energy as heat. This dramatically reduces distortion and allows the individual units to deliver the best audio possible, with a pure, flawless sound.

Simple to install, simple to position
With a sensitivity of 90dB and a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms, the Concept 40 can be easily driven by any good amplifier and will effortlessly reproduce peaks and crescendos in songs and film scores. Multiple placements in your preferred listening room are possible thanks to foam inserts. Inserts can be fitted into the rear reflex port to modify the bass response for excellent reproduction against a wall or close to a corner.

These stunning floorstanding speakers are available in a multi-layered finish in either black or high-gloss white. The elegant tripod stand allows the Concept 40 to achieve perfect rigidity and floor contact, for improved performance. Even the speaker’s elegant brushed aluminium front plate is anything but decorative. It is part of an assembled structure that secures a butyl rubber layer to the front panel to further reduce cabinet resonance in the front panel.
