The ideal addition to your home cinema system: Expand your reference speakers with the Reference Center and immerse yourself in new and exciting worlds of sound. Perfectly matched to the Reference series in design and technology, you can keep everything under control even in the most exciting cinematic events. The 3-way speaker delivers faithful and authentic dialogue reproduction and, thanks to its 3-chamber construction with bass guide, can reproduce bass tones precisely and powerfully. The curved walls and black adapter rings of the Reference Center not only look elegant, they also optimize the sound radiation of the speaker. This means you can enjoy the Reference Center wherever you are and experience your favorite films and series in a completely new way. The Reference Center can be placed on a sideboard or freestanding on the optional Reference Center LS stand.

Custom design
The Reference Center has been perfectly adapted to the Reference series in terms of design and technology and allows you to expand your stereo system into an ideal multi-channel home cinema system. Its elegant design strictly follows the high acoustic requirements that our developers place on a loudspeaker. The curved walls, the round baffle and the completely new black adapter rings made of POM (polyoxymethylene) optimize the sound radiation of the center speaker. For harmonious integration into your living space, we offer the Reference Center in two different living versions: silk white matt and piano black. The satin finish of the white version gives the speakers a modern and timeless look. The high-gloss surface of the “Black Piano” version impresses with its enormous depth effect, which is achieved by applying and polishing twelve layers of lacquer.

Exceptional technology
In the Reference Center, which is 70 centimeters wide and 27 centimeters high with the base, three powerful speaker drivers ensure an immersive sound. Two 174 mm BCT drivers and a 25 mm BC tweeter dome are responsible for the sound in the 3-way construction. The black BCT membranes of the midrange and woofers offer high rigidity and good internal damping despite their low weight. In addition, the midrange driver, integrated into its own housing, uses a membrane with TCC technology. These measures enable precise and accurate reproduction of low and mid frequencies with minimal distortion. The BC tweeter contributes to the detailed and transparent reproduction of the center. All speaker drivers use the latest generation of Canton Wave Surround to enable low-distortion playback at any volume.

Sound tuning
The Reference Center stands out not only for its excellent sound, but also for the use of high-quality components and equipment. We use German-made WBT nextgen™ connection terminals as the connection terminal in the Reference Center. They ensure contact-free and loss-free audio signal transmission. Thanks to our RC technology, the terminals also allow sensitive adjustment of the high and mid-range in 1.5 decibel steps. This level adjustment allows you to adapt the sound reproduction to your individual preferences or room acoustics and achieve an optimal listening experience.
