IO has been designed to offer exceptional Rega performance at an affordable price.
It uses the same amplifier stage as the award-winning Brio, now designed to operate at 30W per channel into 8Ω. The IO features two line level inputs, a Rega moving magnet phono stage and a dedicated high quality headphone output.
IO will integrate seamlessly into any home audio system while remaining simple to use and easy to set up.

Because music matters
IO uses the same power amplifier and phono stage as its bigger brother, the award-winning Brio, but has the ambition to deliver great sound in a smaller, more affordable format.
Class A/B amplifier with Sanken output transistors, the linear power supply equipped with an oversized toroidal, allows to deliver a minimum output power of 30 watts per channel on 8 ohms. The entire pre-amplification section is analog and is equipped with selected components, as well as the volume regulation through the use of an Alps potentiometer.
Three analogue inputs, two line level inputs and a high quality moving magnet phono input are available. A headphone output is provided on the front of the amplifier for powering standard hi-fi headphones; this stage is driven by the unit's power amplifier stage which, through the use of high quality relays, prevents signal degradation when headphones are inserted or the product is muted.
