Rega Brio 2017 NEW - Amplifier - READY FOR DELIVERY

The 2017 Brio features a completely new casework which houses improved circuitry and components. The casework is constructed from 2 sections of all-aluminium to improve heat dissipation and improve on the already excellent solidity and build quality. The new 2017 Brio introduces a special headphone output which does not interfere with the audio circuitry when not in use and, as you would expect from a Rega amplifier, a high quality MM phono input.

In designing the Brio, every aspect of the design, from the quality of materials to the construction process, has been meticulously improved, representing a step forward in amplifier engineering and design for Rega.

Brand new cabinet
The high gloss, minimalist look has been introduced to bring a new elegance to the classic Rega style, without sacrificing the fundamental features hidden within previous Rega amplifiers. The combination of all this makes the Brio cabinet a unique reference in its category.

Redesigned circuitry
Fundamental improvements have been made to the circuitry. The board has been improved in every detail to handle higher specifications in all critical components. A second power supply has been added to provide greater isolation between the output stage and the line and phono amplifier stages. This improves the isolation between the low and high level signals of the amplifier. High specification MUSES operational amplifiers have been used in the line and phono stages.

Headphone Output
For added convenience, the Brio has the ability to drive hi-fi headphones directly from the internal amplifier. The addition of a headphone output was only possible after finding a way to reduce its impact on the main signal path, so as not to affect the amplifier's musical quality. Special attention was paid to the switch that deactivates the speakers.
