Product Description
Power – refined, detailed and plenty of it. Rotel’s new Class AB stereo amplifier is rated at 350 watts per channel into 8 ohms with both channels driven. That’s a lot of power, but larger rooms or less sensitive speakers will require it for maximum performance and lifelike audio dynamics.

The impressive capabilities of this amplifier begin with a solid foundation of robust dual toroidal transformers manufactured by Rotel. These transformers are part of an indestructible power supply comprising eight special British-made BHC capacitors, renowned for their low losses and fast response times. These components will continue to supply all the voltage and current needed, even under the most demanding load conditions.

But unrefined power has never been a design goal for Rotel. Every aspect of circuit design has been carefully considered, and every component has been rigorously selected after extensive listening sessions. The circuit topography has been conceived in a true monoblock design that ensures maximum signal separation and improved stereo imaging.

Features include: balanced XLR and RCA input connectors, two pairs of 5-way speaker binding posts, 12-volt triggering, thermal protection circuitry, overcurrent and overvoltage protection circuitry, dual-stage power relaying to reduce current spikes and increase life, and a detachable IEC power cord – all in a 5U chassis with included rack ears.

The RB-1590 is designed for the more experienced enthusiast and is capable of delivering the highest levels of audio performance.
