The RC-1590 stereo preamplifier is designed for maximum audio performance, providing the user with an incredible level of control and flexibility. The high-performance power supply consists of two Rotel-designed toroidal transformers for maximum efficiency and low magnetic fields, providing low-noise isolation between the analog and digital signals. The transformers are part of a quality power system that includes analog and digital regulation circuits with custom-designed slit-foil capacitors. The slit-foil capacitors have very fast charge/discharge times and low signal losses to ensure optimum bass reproduction.

Rotel engineers set out to create a quality stereo preamplifier to match the new RB-1590 stereo amplifier. Every aspect of the component selection and circuit topography was carefully considered and evaluated over numerous listening sessions to ensure the highest fidelity. For example, the analog and digital circuits were designed separately by Rotel’s expert teams. The analog inputs are all ultra-low noise circuits and include a high-performance moving magnet phono stage. The digital inputs are fully isolated and include a precision 32-bit, 768kHz digital-to-analog converter (DAC).

The RC-1590 offers a full feature set with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs, a TI IC for fine volume adjustment, a fixed volume line output, dual mono subwoofer outputs, digital outputs (coaxial and optical), digital inputs (3 coaxial and 3 optical), analog Aux, CD and Tuner inputs, internal aptX Bluetooth (supports standard Bluetooth and aptX) with rear-mounted external antenna, front USB for iPod with 2.1A charging input, and rear-panel 24-bit/192kHz USB for PC with DSD (Windows) and DoP (MAC computer DSD over PCM) support.

Other essential features include remote control, 2 x 12V trigger outputs, a dimmable display, an auto power off function (configurable), RS232 and IP control for automation system integration, Internet software updates, Rotel Link connection, a detachable IEC power cord, an external IR remote input and a front-mounted 3.5mm headphone output. For music lovers who don’t want to compromise, the RC-1590 preamplifier is in a class of its own, affordably priced for its incredible performance.
