The beating heart of Frankie hybrid preamplifier, the line amplifier, is made up of 4 double 6DJ8 triodes in balanced SRPP configuration with active cascode mosfet current sink.
The circuit, with zero feedback, benefits from 4 separate power supplies regulated with discrete components. The volume control is once again our “golden ladder”, the attenuator developed internally and used in all our products.
This attenuator, consisting of fixed resistors switched by relays, has a precision and quality superior to common analog or digital potentiometers. The solid-state phono input is suitable for both MM and MC cartridges, benefits from a discrete FET input with very low noise, a completely passive RIAA network and balanced output.
The dip switches on the rear panel provide a wide range of capacitance and resistance adjustments for the head interface.
Of course, the phono board has its own dedicated power supply. The preamplifier can be controlled both via the iOS and Android app and via infrared remote control simultaneously.

A “NET” version is also available which contains the same streamer module used in the Frankie Plus integrated amplifier with WiFi/Lan/Bluetooth (AptX) 2.4/5.0ghz, AirPlay2, UPnP/DLNA, OpenHome, Spotify Connect, Tidal, Qobuz HTTP, HTTPS, internet radio functions.
