Signal Projects Filtron DCB - Power distributor

Filtron is a single-input, 7-output power distribution device for advanced audio and video electronics. In all versions of Filtron, the unit's input and output sockets are custom-machined and upgraded in our laboratory to meet the voltage and current requirements of our circuits.

- Power line filter. The unit contains a 30A ultra-low-loss power line filter, providing excellent protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

- Power Isolation. Filtron's circuitry utilizes two balanced toroidal power isolation transformers, crafted from ultra-pure copper coils with a 4-edge bonding topology on the secondary winding and 400Hz toroidal core plates with custom, refined surfaces. This unique design creates a highly efficient transformer with extreme performance and zero ringing, which not only limits the entire field to the core material but also eliminates the radiation of any type of electromagnetic interference. Filtron provides two, three, or four balanced isolated power outputs (depending on user preference) for preamplifiers, tuners, digital converters, Class D amplifier stages, phono stages, turntable motors, and other low-voltage electronics.

- Virtual Grounding. Filtron's circuit provides a highly efficient virtual grounding, capable of eliminating (when connected to properly grounded power cables) all grounding problems in any system.

- Ultra-pure wiring. Filtron's internal wiring is based on 7N copper conductors or hybrid copper, silver, and gold conductors, as used in Signal Projects Atlantis and Andromeda power cables (depending on the version). The exceptional characteristics of our power conductors provide significantly increased conductivity and thus the lowest possible delay between the unit's internal components. This helps Filtron perform with impressive clarity, superb neutrality, and excellent balance beyond the limits of audible frequencies, while simultaneously revealing abundant detail from all three dimensions of the soundstage with exceptional accuracy.

• Solid billet frame. Filtron's frame is machined from solid, aircraft-grade billet aluminum on one of today's most precise CNC machines. The topology and placement of internal components have been designed and calculated using custom software to provide optimal shielding and maximum protection against magnetically emitted interference and all types of external interference.
