The Poseidon S30 is a 7-socket power distribution device (EU, UK, US, AU) for advanced audio and video electronics. In all versions of the Poseidon S30, the sockets are customized in our laboratory to meet the voltage and current requirements of our circuits.
- Power line filter. The unit contains a 30 A ultra-low leakage power line filter against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.
- Power Isolation. The Poseidon S30 circuit uses three 400W or 600W balanced toroidal power isolation transformers (depending on user preference). Our isolation transformers are constructed with ultra-pure copper coils, a 4-edge binding topology on the secondary winding, and 400Hz toroidal core plates with custom-finished surfaces, delivering extreme performance, efficiency, and zero ringing. The exceptional design of our balanced transformers constrains all fields to the core material and completely eliminates radiation from any type of electromagnetic interference. The Poseidon S30 provides three, four, or five balanced isolated power outputs (depending on user preference) for preamplifiers, tuners, digital converters, Class-D amplifier stages, phono stages, turntable motors, and other low-voltage electronics.
- Virtual Grounding. Thanks to the exceptional design of our toroidal power transformers and the Poseidon S30's rigid wiring configuration, the unit provides a highly efficient virtual grounding circuit that can eliminate (when connected to properly grounded power cables) all grounding problems in any system.
- Ultra-high-purity copper wiring. The Poseidon S30's internal wiring is based on the 7N copper conductors used in Signal Projects' Atlantis power cables. The exceptional characteristics of the Atlantis power conductors ensure significantly increased conductivity and therefore the lowest possible propagation delay between the unit's internal components. This helps the Poseidon S30 perform with impressive clarity, superb neutrality, and excellent balance beyond the limits of audible frequencies, while simultaneously revealing abundant detail and drawing the three dimensions of the soundstage with excellent precision.
-Machined from solid billet frame. The Poseidon S30 frame is machined from solid T8 aircraft-grade billet aluminum on one of today's most accurate CNC machines. The topology and placement of the Poseidon S30's internal components were designed and calculated using custom software to provide optimal shielding and maximum protection against magnetic coupling and any type of external interference.
