Poseidon S30 is a 7-socket (EU, UK, US, AU) power distribution device for advanced audio and video electronics. In all versions of Poseidon S30, the sockets are customized in our laboratory, in order to meet the voltage and current requirements of our circuits.
-Power line filter. The unit contains a 30A ultra-low leakage power line filter against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.
- Power Isolation. The Poseidon S30 circuit uses 3 balanced 400W or 600W (depending on user preference) toroidal power isolation transformers. Our isolation transformers are made with ultra-pure copper coils, with 4-edge binding topology on the secondary and 400Hz toroidal core plates with custom finished surfaces, providing extreme performance, efficiency and zero ringing. Our unique balanced transformer design constrains all fields to the core material and completely eliminates radiation from any type of electromagnetic interference. The Poseidon S30 provides 3,4 or 5 balanced isolated power outputs (depending on user preference) for preamps, tuners, digital converters, class D amplifier stages, phono stages, turntable motors and other low voltage consumption electronics.
- Virtual Grounding. Thanks to the unique design of our toroidal power transformers and the Poseidon S30's hard-wired configuration, the unit provides a highly efficient virtual grounding circuit that can eliminate (when connected to properly grounded power cables) all grounding problems in any system.
- High purity copper wiring. The internal wiring of the Poseidon S30 is based on the 7N copper conductors used on Signal Projects' Atlantis power cables. The exceptional characteristics of the Atlantis power conductors ensure greatly increased conductivity and therefore the lowest possible propagation delay between the internal components of the unit. This is helping the Poseidon S30 to perform with impressive clarity, with superb neutrality and excellent balance beyond the limits of audible frequencies, and at the same time to reveal plenty of detail and to draw the 3 dimensions of the soundstage with excellent precision.
-Machined from solid billet frame. The Poseidon S30 frame is machined from solid T8 aircraft grade billet aluminum on one of today’s most accurate CNC machines. The topology and placement of the Poseidon S30’s internal components have been designed and calculated by custom software to provide optimal shielding and maximum protection against magnetic coupling and any type of external interference.
