Custom motherboard for audio
Customized and dedicated motherboard for audio use. Low noise for high-quality music playback, the shorter data path enables smoother and purer data transmission. It consumes less power and introduces less noise on the power rails to ensure more stable USB and network signals. The independent USB AUDIO dedicated circuit makes the USB AUDIO processing isolated and gets less interference. As a result, data transmission is more stable and the jitter during data transmission is reduced.

Extremely low CPU power consumption
The Intel Mobile Series CPU has extremely low power consumption (up to 6W) to reduce the electrical noise of the CPU and make the signal inside Z1 more stable and prevent it from affecting the nearby audio device.

Oversized power board
The custom power board is oversized, capable of delivering 160W while Z1 only requires 40W, providing enough power to the motherboard and SSD, ensuring stable data transmission.

Patented structure design
The groove structure design has the characteristic of reducing signal interference, standardizing the direction and positioning of the line. The design has obtained the Chinese patent certification.

New CPU Thermal Solution
Use the aluminum alloy upper case as a CPU heatsink. Lower CPU temperature during operation: 10 degrees C lower than the previous version, lower internal temperature results in 15% lower thermal noise inside the Z1 than the previous version (at an ambient temperature of 25 degrees C)

SSD Audio Grade V2 Technology
The new internal memory card design provides pure SSD power, greatly reducing the SATA signal transmission distance to only 2cm (the previous version is 18cm), which supports dual SSD, while using M.2 SATA SSD Low-power: Reduce the electrical noise on the power rail inside Z1, added EMI absorber to reduce M.2 SATA SSD EMI noise.

High Permeability EMI Absorber
Furthermore, to eliminate high-frequency electrical noise from digital circuits, Z1 uses a specially chosen EMI absorber on the inner side of the bottom case to absorb EMI noise from internal digital circuit including DRAM, CPU, ... and so on.

The Z1 comes with a VitOS operating system designed for music servers that focuses on streaming services. VitOS improves machine efficiency, performance stability and network latency issues.

- DSD Support: Please note that DAC supporting DSD with "DSD Native" is required to smoothly play DSD music up to DSD256. If your DAC supports DSD with "DoP" mode (DSD over PCM), the Z1 only supports DSD music up to DSD64 (which means DSD128 or DSD256 is not supported in DoP mode).
- Music Library: Z1 is designed to handle 100,000 songs or 4TB music files without any problems.
