Sonus faber is not new to subwoofer design and engineering. The first project was launched in 1986 under the name Gravis FB100 and ten years later Sonus faber Cremona M was born.
Today, with the new Gravis subwoofer collection, Sonus faber returns to its origins, combining cutting-edge technology with its own identity made of natural sound and Italian craftsmanship.

The Gravis III, V and VI subwoofers, the most sophisticated models in the active system line, were designed to best accompany the collections that have marked the history of the Vicenza-based company. Stylistically united by the black leather cabinet covering, the three subwoofers are distinguished by the different finishes of the hand-finished wooden top.

Gravis Collection, the line of active systems dedicated to the reproduction of low frequencies, is designed to interface with all the families of “full-range” speakers in the Sonus faber catalogue. Gravis III represents the ideal completion of the Olympica Nova collection, while Gravis V and VI match the higher-end Homage Tradition and Reference collections.
