The Cremonese
Always faithful to the Italian violin-making tradition, Sonus faber pays homage to the master Antonio Stradivari. Like his famous instrument, Il Cremonese is the fruit of careful scientific study and deep passion.
STRADIVARI'S VIOLIN
Descending directly from Lilium, Il Cremonese is a tribute to the famous violin of the same name by Antonio Stradivari. With a rhomboid shape with five non-parallel faces, it requires meticulous workmanship, just like that of a musical instrument: from the bending of the wood to the precious treatments of the Avional surfaces.
THEORETICAL PERFECTION
This is what we aimed for during the design phase of each of the acoustic rooms at Il Cremonese: the insulation was created with different materials, depending on their performance: from foamed thermoplastic to the felt used in pianos.
This unusual shape for a Sonus faber speaker should be read as a sign of an evolution towards experimentation
technological, sound and visual, without forgetting the great classics that have characterized the history of violin making and that of the brand.
