The result of the rich experience, know-how and technology accumulated by STAX over the years is a new top-of-the-line amplifier. The model name titled with “T” that follows the genealogy of previous amplifiers and the hybrid circuit with double triodes of tubes combined with semiconductors greatly expands the possibilities of electrostatic headphones.

Features:

• The amplifier's hybrid configuration with fully balanced transmission of the renowned 6922 dual triodes for the first stage and Class A semiconductors for the output stage delivers rich, accurate musical expression with ultra-low noise.

• The first stage valves have been housed on a separate independent circuit to eliminate external vibrations and noises. In addition, the noise has been completely eliminated by the anti-vibration dampers and the valve shielding also used for hard disks etc.

• For the first time in the history of STAX amplifiers, the oversized toroidal transformer as well as the non-magnetic chassis have been adopted for clear, undistinguished sound quality.

• The SRM-T8000 adopts the EXTERNAL (BYPASS) function that allows volume control from external sources.

• A new insulating material combined with aluminum has been used for greater efficiency and power output.
