Unison Unico CD Due – CD Player

The Unison Unico CD Due is the top-of-the-line Hi-End DAC with integrated CD transport from the renowned Italian brand. Like the rest of the Unico range, it features hybrid circuitry with four ECC83 valves and solid-state devices. In addition to playing audio CDs, the numerous digital connections also allow you to connect this device to external sources such as streamers or computers. Analog and digital outputs are also provided for integration into any Hi-Fi system.

The Unico CD Due , successor to the CDE and part of the Unico range , uses Unison Research's trademark hybrid design, combining tube technology with solid-state devices to enhance the power it can deliver, without compromising the musicality typical of a tube system in the slightest.

Unico CD Due is equipped, in addition to analog and digital outputs , with several digital inputs including a USB audio input , a coaxial S/PDIF, an AES/EBU and an optical Toslink . It is also equipped with a Bluetooth™ receiver that further interconnects with any compatible mobile device, transmitting music wirelessly.

The CD mechanism is responsible for reading audio CDs only, thanks to its very elegant, slim drawer. The mechanism is enclosed and shielded by a sturdy metal cover.
