The Wireworld Starlight 8 Ethernet cable uses an innovative flat, parallel twinax conductor geometry that supports extreme transmission speeds and reduces noise for the most realistic playback of streaming music and video. The patented Tite-Shield™ design features twelve internal shields that isolate noise for improved audio and video quality. Official network cable ratings (e.g. Cat5/6/7/8) only include twisted pair cables, so these non-twisted twinax cables cannot be classified by these test specifications. However, it is interesting to note that 100 Gb/s Ethernet cables (QSFP+) used in Internet server installations are also twinax.
