Ultimate Performance with BTL
To further enhance power, the MX-A5200 supports Bridge Tied Load (BTL) configuration for the front 2 channels. This provides a significant boost in front speaker performance.
Project Without Compromises
The product of an uncompromising design, the MX-A5200 features a chassis specially designed to maximise rigidity and eliminate the effects of vibration.
The MX-A5200 employs a double-layer bottom structure with vibration-control shelves made from 1.6mm thick steel – a similar approach to the structure of the legendary Z11 AV receiver.
To better support the heavy heat sinks and other components, the independent left-right construction is reinforced with a rigid frame structure. The bottom frame reduces vibrations from the large power transformer and heat sinks.
The MX-A5200 also features isolation layers that block external vibrations.
Perfectly Symmetrical
Thanks to precise circuit design and a symmetrical power amplifier configuration, the MX-A5200 achieves ideal channel separation, with the left and right sides physically and electrically isolated.
The design also significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio for a wide soundstage.
Effortless performance
The MX-A5200 uses a large, high-current toroidal transformer, combined with 2 proprietary high-performance capacitors, capable of delivering enormous power and generous headroom.
Furthermore, energy loss is minimized and ensures effortless reproduction of sound sources.
Exceptional Connection
The rear of the MX-A5200 features high-quality, gold-plated connectors, compatible with Y-mounts (spade connectors) for optimum speaker connection.
Reinforced Lower Shell
Chassis stability is the key to improved performance and deep sound. The MX-A5200 achieves this by employing a thick bottom plate that stabilizes the structure and achieves optimal sound.
Balanced XLR Connections
When connecting AV components, electrical noise is introduced - a consequence of the various connections and external noise coming from other sources as well.
To combat this problem, the MX-A5200 uses balanced connections for all 11 channels – the same type used in professional audio equipment.
Even unbalanced RCA connections use a complete ground signal transmission, with quality comparable to balanced transmission.
