XDA-AMP5400RK Multi-Room Amplifier (4 Zones, 8 Channels)
Designed specifically for custom integration of complete home audio systems, the "AMP" is the amplifier to be used alongside the Yamaha XDA-QS5400RK to expand its speaker coverage and/or increase its power output. It can also be used to expand the speaker coverage of the secondary zone of a Yamaha receiver equipped with Zone pre outs.

The XDA-AMP5400RK - the "AMP" - is designed as a companion to the Yamaha XDA-QS5400RK to expand its speaker coverage and/or increase its power output within a custom integrated multi-room audio system. It can also be paired with Yamaha AV receivers featuring Zone pre-outs.

The AMP integrates eight channels of audiophile-quality amplification, despite an incredibly slim 1U enclosure design, perfect for optimizing installation inside your precious rack cabinet.

Phenomenal flexibility
Feed the AMP with four sources from the QS pre-outs - its four input/output buses can be combined to drive a wide range of speaker/zone configurations. The AMP comes complete with a set of jumper plugs and cables, for maximum versatility of use. The audio outputs can be used to connect powered subwoofers or subwoofer amplifiers.

More power on demand
Each of the four amplification zones can be bridged to, if necessary, increase the power delivery to certain speakers.

Audiophile-quality amplification
The AMP uses ultra-efficient ICEpower integrated circuits to deliver eight channels of pure, dynamic, musical digital amplification at 50 watts per channel (8 ohms) with an extraordinary frequency response of 5 Hz to 40 kHz (+0/-3 dB) and a signal-to-noise ratio of 108 dB. It is 4-ohm rated at 100 watts per channel and is bridgeable to deliver 200 watts per channel (8 ohms).
